GREENFIELD — The Stoneleigh-Burnham School will host the annual Poet’s Seat Poetry Contest awards ceremony Thursday night.
The event starts at 7 p.m. in the Capen Room, and it’s free and open to the public. The contest finalist will read their poems.
The first-place finisher will receive the Poet’s Seat Chair for one year and have their name engraved on a plaque, plus a hand-crafted, poet’s ceramic platter, a night at the Poetry Ridge Bed and Breakfast and a $20 book store gift certificate.
Second- and third-place winners in the adult division, and the top four youth poets will receive hand-crafted ceramic mugs and $20 book store gift certificates.
