COLRAIN — The town does not have any election races at this point, but several incumbents are seeking re-election to three-year terms of office.
On Wednesday, the Griswold Memorial Library is hosting a “meet the candidates” night, which is a festive gathering with refreshments and a chance for each office seeker to meet townspeople and discuss issues of concern.
The following incumbents are running unopposed for re-election on Monday, May 2: Selectman Jack Cavolick, Town Clerk Robin Hartnett, Library Trustee Michelle Hillman, Mohawk school board member Nina Martin-Anzuoni, Constable Michael Friedlander and Assessor Nicholas Anzuoni.
A vacant three-year term as a library trustee has no candidates on the ballot.
The polls open Monday at the Town Office from noon to 7 p.m.
