Pleaded guilty to possession of a Class B drug, to wit, cocaine, in Greenfield by state police, fined $500, plus $125 surfine, and must forfeit $1,069 and two cell phones. Pleaded guilty to failure to stop for police, fined $100. Pleaded guilty to operating with suspended license, fined $250. Pleaded guilty to using a motor vehicle without authority, placed on probation until 10/17/17, with victim witness assessment of $50. Found responsible for speeding, fined $500. Pleaded guilty to negligent operation of a motor vehicle, sentenced to 18 months in the house of correction, suspended until 10/17/17 for administration probation. Must pay $150 legal counsel fee. Bell III, 28, of Parkside Street, Greenfield.Admitted to sufficient facts for possession of ammunition without a firearms identification card, and improper storage of a firearm, but continued without a finding until 4/14/16 with $50 victim witness assessment of $50, assessment on the first count and conditions that apply to all three are must stay 100 yards away from and have no contact with the victim, must forfeit all firearms and ammo, and must have no possession of a firearm. Charge of breaking and entering into a vehicle or boat in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony, to be dismissed on payment of $400 restitution to the named person. Ann M. Brooks, 41, of Boyden Road, Conway. Matthew J. Abare, 26, of Gardner. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of liquor, in Athol, but continued without a finding until 4/11/17, with 45-day mandatory loss of license, and no driving until the Registry of Motor Vehicles reinstates the license, plus $250 head injury assessment, OUI fee of $250, OUI victim’s assessment of $50, and victim witness fee of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $707.76. Charge of operating under the influence of drugs, dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Found not responsible for motor vehicle lights violation, and possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Must pay $150 legal counsel fee, and $150 legal counsel contribution. Must pay $65 per month probation supervision fee.

Erik V. Fichtner, 62, of Hapgood Street, Athol. Pleaded innocent to disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, and attempting to commit a crime, to wit, assault and battery on a police officer, released on personal recognizance, continued to 5/20/16 for pretrial conference. Corey J. McAlevey, 33, of Dummerston, Vt., Charge of operating with suspended license, in Erving by state police, dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Found not responsible for motor vehicle lights violation.

Steven P. Wilkes, 32, of Ludlow. Pleaded innocent to operating with suspended license, subsequent offense, operating with suspended registration, and uninsured motor vehicle, in New Salem by state police, released on personal recognizance, continued to 6/10/16 for pretrial conference.

Christi L. Newton, 39, listed as homeless, of Greenfield. Charges of breaking and entering into a building in the daytime with intent to commit a felony, malicious destruction of property over $250 value, and attempting to commit a crime, larceny, in Erving, were not prosecuted, as according to a written statement from a counsel in the district attorney’s office, an essential witness has asserted a Fifth Amendment Privilege and without her testimony the case can’t proceed.

Charge of assault and battery on a family or household member, in Orange, was not prosecuted, as according to a written statement from a counsel in the district attorney’s office, the victim has asserted a Fifth Amendment privilege, and charges can’t proceed without her.
