6:33 p.m. — Suspicious activity reported at Cleveland Street and Barr Avenue where the caller reports a white male about 15 years old wearing a blue sweatshirt, red jogging pants and a red face mask, while carrying a metal bat; caller reports the youth just claimed he wants to be a vigilante and is looking for his victim; his direction of travel is toward the high school and Davis Street; officer contacted the youth, and advised the youth is autistic; he was advised, and sent on his way.

8:23 p.m. — Larceny reported on Walnut Street where the caller says the ball hitch from his truck and a rake and shovel were missing from his front porch, and he noticed the items missing between 4 and 5 p.m.; he didn’t want a report done of this, but rather he thought he should inform police in case there were other thefts reported in the area.

9:15 p.m. — Report from Taylor’s Tavern on Main Street of a fight, officers broke up a potential physical altercation over a female; peace was restored.

Montague, April 14

2:24 p.m. — Reporting person from the F.L. Roberts station on Third Street that two males were just in the store and one of them took a 12-pack of beer and walked out; the reporting person followed them out of the store and found the beer on the side of the building; while on the phone with dispatch the males came back inside and asked the reporting person if he saw where they left their beer; the reporting person stated he didn’t know; he then gave a description of the two involved; officer then located the two people, and investigation leads to arrest of Brad Trombley, 40, of Eleventh Street, Turners Falls, charged with shoplifting. Second person was a juvenile.

7:53 a.m. — Vandalism reported at the Salvation Army Thrift Store where the employee reports the front door was smashed overnight, but doesn’t appear that entry was made.

11:16 a.m. — Harassment reported on Randall Road where the caller says her neighbor just stuck some religious materials in her door; when the reporting person advised the neighbor that she didn’t want them, and gave them back to her, the neighbor then stuck the materials in the reporting person’s child stroller; that neighbor has since left.

12:03 p.m. — Accident with damage on Mormon Hollow Road where one motorcycle struck a deer, but no injuries reported, and the deer is no longer on the scene; officer sent, and found the registered owner is assisting with removing the bike.

5:18 p.m. — General disturbance reported on Second Street by the alley near L Street, from where the caller advises of a known male who is intoxicated and is urinating everywhere, and has fallen down a few times; the reporting person was concerned about the man’s daughter arriving home soon and the male causing a disturbance; officer responded but was unable to locate the male.

Orange April 14

9:07 a.m. — Traffic stop on East River Street and found the operator was operating with suspended license; investigation leads to arrest of Dwayne D. Boudreau, 55, of Perry Road, Orange, charged with operating with suspended license, possession of a Class B drug, to wit, codeine, possession of a Class B drug, to wit, oxycodone, and failure to notify Registry of Motor Vehicles of a change of address.

1 p.m. — Motor vehicle violation on East Main Street where a traffic stop was made for a vehicle for failure to yield for a pedestrian in a crosswalk; the operator was issued a citation for the violation.

5 p.m. — Larceny reported from Dexter Street where the principal states one of his teachers had her cell phone stolen; “find my iPhone” was used and was showing the phone is somewhere in Pine Crest; following an investigation the phone was located in Athol, and returned to the owner; a summons is being issued to the involved person.

5:30 p.m. — Shelburne Control took a call requesting an officer for a female with suicidal thoughts; officer responded, and the person was taken to Athol Hospital by the Orange Fire Department Ambulance.

8:24 p.m. — A 911 call from Magoon Road reporting a verbal argument between a mother and her son; on arrival of an officer he spoke with the person and found out her son was upset because the mother told him to go to bed, as he got in trouble in school today; he went to his grandfather’s house next door to make the call; he was spoken with by the officer, and advised he needs to follow his mother’s rules and go to bed for the night.

8:40 p.m. — Noise disturbance reported on North Main Street from where Control got a report of what appears to be a disturbance with two males yelling and swearing; all was quiet on arrival and spoke with the males who said a female left the area when she saw the cruiser approaching. Area checked but officers weren’t able to locate her.

Greenfield, April 15

9:58 a.m. — Hit-and-run accident reported at Deerfield and Washington streets where the caller says a black sedan struck a sign and left going up Washington Street, but no plate number available; officer found a temporary sign knocked over, and returned it to its upright position, no damage done.

Orange, April 15

12:05 a.m. — Neighborhood disturbance reported on Russ Street where the neighbor requested an officer respond to quell a loud party; officer arrived and spoke with the homeowner who was advised to quiet down for the evening.

Orange, April 15

11:15 a.m. — Traffic stop on West Main Street for a passenger in a vehicle that has an active warrant; the passenger was placed in custody, taken to the station for booking, and arrested was Crystal Ann Doucette, 29, of West Main Street, Orange, on a default warrant.

12:05 p.m. — Shelburne Control advised they got a call from Mattawa Circle where there is a male out in her backyard, wearing an orange vest, and carrying a rifle; on officer’s arrival it was found the male was identified, and was surveying land for the DCR.

2:42 p.m. — Control took a call from a reporting person who was concerned about a young female who had shown up at his house, on East River Street, looking to do odd jobs to make some money; the female was described as around 20 years old, with dark hair, and had a small child with her; the reporting person explained how this female told him that she lived in her car; officer checked with the reporting person and checked the area, but with negative contact.

6:45 p.m. — Accident on Main Street where Control said the ambulance was responding to the address there for an ATV crash; on officer’s arrival the operator was complaining of pain and some bumps and bruises; the female was transported to Athol Hospital by the Orange Fire Department Ambulance; the Environmental Police were conducting their own investigation as well; the owner of the ATV was issued a verbal warning for having an unregistered vehicle.

7:20 p.m. — Walk-in came to the station to report money was taken from her account; report taken.

Orange, April 16

12:20 a.m. — Control reports an accident on North Main Street where a deer was struck, and it took off into the woods; the operator of the vehicle had left the scene, and would like an officer to look at the vehicle; damage was determined to be under $1,000, and he was advised it would be on record and to contact his insurance company.

10:10 a.m. — Officer serving a warrant on Rayne A. Marion, 21, of East River Street, Orange, arrested on two warrants.

3:35 p.m. — Walk-in reports a tree company truck has diesel fuel leaking from the tank on Airport Road, with a large pool underneath; officer sent and confirmed the problem; an airport employee was notified, as well as the Orange Fire Department.

3:40 p.m. — Unwanted person reported at James Lane where the reporting person wanted an intoxicated son removed; both units responded and the son called a friend who came and picked him up.

6:10 p.m. — Unwanted person reported at West Main Street where the reporting person is requesting a female be removed, as she is out of control; on officer’s arrival the female settled down, the situation was discussed, and then the reporting person agreed to let her stay there.

Greenfield, April 17

10:23 a.m. — Accident at Federal and Garfield streets, but no injuries reported, where the caller reports a person rode a bike into the side of her vehicle; he yelled at the reporting person, and rode off; the vehicle was stopped at a stop sign; officer found no damage to the vehicle, and the rider of the bike fell into the front of the vehicle; no contact between the vehicle and the bicycle.

11:46 a.m. — Caller from Keegan Lane reports a number of gun shots, but unsure where the shots are coming from; officer found it all quiet on arrival, checked the area, and spoke to several neighbors; some stated they heard what could be gunshots, or BB guns, being shot out in the woods behind the Princeton Terrace area, but nothing today; determined to be unfounded at this time.

12:53 p.m. — Traffic stop on Leyden Road where the 45-year-old Bayberry Court male operator is being summoned to court for revoked registration, and two other motor vehicle violations.

1:22 p.m. — Malicious destruction of property, reported on Pleasant Street where the caller reports his car was keyed, and a tire was slashed; officer to investigate.

3:11 p.m. — Caller from Union Street reports an intoxicated neighbor is causing a disturbance by moving bug-infested mattresses by her garden; nothing found.

4:18 p.m. — Unwanted person reported at Colrain Street location; officers sent, and then reporting one person in custody; arrested was Christopher C. Ely, 43, of Colrain Street, Greenfield, charged with assault and battery on a family or household member.

8:36 p.m. — Disturbance at Main Street and Court Square; officer responded, and located a known male who admitted to speaking loudly about things that upset him; he stated that he just wanted the world to know how he felt; he was advised of the complaint and he agreed that he would choose a better place, and time, to vent.

9:51 p.m. — Caller from the Cumberland Farms location on Federal Street where the caller says a maroon Jeep Cherokee was parked in the middle of the road with a male and female who were arguing; both people left the Jeep and were screaming at each other, the male standing on the corner, and the female got back into the vehicle; officers found they were having an argument, but nothing physical.

10:23 p.m. — Disturbance at Miles and Main streets from where a report was received of a black female, wrapped in a green blanket, on the benches, and was making suicidal statements; officer spoke with the female who stated she felt fine, didn’t make any such statements, and doesn’t need any services.

10:32 p.m. — Disturbance on Shattuck Street where the caller says a male is yelling and making threats to a female in the vehicle, which was described as an SUV of a darker color, and facing Davis Street; gone on arrival of police.

Orange, April 17

2:50 a.m. — Neighborhood disturbance reported on East River Street at Pine Crest apartments coming from building one; officers located the disturbance coming from one of the apartments; it was determined that the female and her boyfriend were having a verbal altercation, and they smashed a mirror and a bedroom window; the two were arguing over the usage of unprescribed Percocets; the two were separated for the evening.

3:40 a.m. — Report of a disturbance at Pine Crest apartments on East River Street where the couple had continued to be involved in a verbal altercation and the female is going to stay in the apartment, and again they were separated for the evening.

10:50 a.m. — Caller from Second Street reports she has been told that her husband and a female friend may try to break into the residence and hurt her; the caller doesn’t wish to stay with her sister; she was advised to lock all doors and windows and call 911 if they show up; the caller was advised the department would run extra patrols in that area.

11:54 a.m. — Officer on East River Street to serve a warrant; arrested was Andrew Adrian Robinson, 32, of Holtshire Road, Orange, on the warrant.

12:30 p.m. — Caller from East River Street reports that sometime during the night, his mailbox and his neighbor’s mailbox were kicked; there was no damage, but they are loose; the mail for the neighbor was on the ground; the caller wanted it on record.

12:46 p.m. — Control reports prescription overdose on Cheney Street; the situation was monitored by an officer until arrival of Athol Fire EMS, and the person was then transported to Athol Hospital.

3:40 p.m. — Vehicle stopped on South Main Street for an expired inspection sticker, and the owner/operator was issued a citation; during the stop, the operator also admitted to having marijuana in the motor vehicle, and handed over a pipe, grinder, and a small amount of marijuana; these items were destroyed.

5:55 p.m. — Anonymous caller to dispatch reported a known subject is outside at Oxbow Road, and there is a warrant for her arrest; warrant confirmed, and both units responded; arrested was Kimberly Jean O’Neil, 45, of Oxbow Road, Orange, on the warrant..

9:35 p.m. — Control reports a call from Whitney Street regarding an intoxicated male stumbling toward East Main Street; units responded and officers saw two men walking westbound and then went into an East Main Street residence; believed one was the involved person but was walking okay and never fell or went off the sidewalk.

10:25 p.m. — Noise disturbance reported on North Main Street where the caller said it was loud music; officer spoke with a person who had a TV on outside; and it was turned down.

Montague, April 17

2:31 p.m. — Accident reported at Food City parking lot on Avenue A, but no injuries reported; two vehicles involved, officer investigating.

9:05 p.m. — Caller from Grove Street reporting she can hear what sounds like someone yelling into a loud speaker, coming from the Third Street area, and can hear it from her residence. Dispatch noted that nine minutes prior to the reporting person’s call the Northfield Mountain Project called to advise that they would be testing their PA system, and an officer advised the reporting person that the test is likely what she is hearing, but advised an officer will check the area.

Greenfield, April 18

12:12 a.m. — Caller from the Arbors at Greenfield, on Meridian Street reports what she believes to be a single gunshot, at the top of the hill on Meridian Street, and the reporting person states this occurred roughly 15 minutes ago; officers checked the surrounding area, but nothing found.

1:35 a.m. — Traffic stop on Davis and Cleveland streets, and an officer asked to have Shelburne Control to contact an Orange officer to make contact there to check on a violation; investigation leads to arrest of Adam Wayne Lane, 32, of Central Street, Turners Falls, charged with violation of abuse prevention order.

4:16 a.m. — The reporting person states her brother’s ex girlfriend is banging on her door, and she isn’t wanted there; the reporting person states that the involved person is now on the phone yelling at her brother; dispatch can hear someone in the background yelling, but not able to make out what they are saying; the only things I could hear were, “what kind of man are you?” and, “get down here,” but the female then left the area without incident, and no intoxication involved. She was trying to retrieve some medication she left behind.

9:35 a.m. — Caller from Davis Street is receiving scam phone calls and someone is telling her they will be at her home today at 10; she was advised to not speak to them anymore when they call, and to call police if someone does show up at her house.

Montague, April 18

2:07 a.m. — Walk in stated he attempted to contact Erving Police Department, and received a voicemail; he stated he noticed one of the dining room windows at the French King Restaurant is open, and thought this was odd; call was placed to Shelburne Control, who advised the owner sometimes leaves windows open, but that they would place a call to the restaurant owner.

9:28 a.m. — Reporting person from Dell Street reports that a person in a Tognarelli van drove by his house a couple of times, and appeared to be taking pictures of his residence; the van is now parked a few houses down from the reporting person in the direction of Letourneau Way; officer off with that van, and advised the van isn’t a Tognarelli van, but is an unmarked commercial van, and the crew is working on a house down the street from the reporting person, where the house is being rehabbed; the officer will advise the reporting person of the findings.

Orange, April 18

5 a.m. — Control reports a motor vehicle accident on North Main Street involving three parked vehicles; after officer’s investigation, a citation was issued for negligent operation of a motor vehicle, (falling asleep at the wheel); two vehicles had to be towed.

3:09 p.m. — Shelburne Control reports Orange Fire Department is responding to Prentiss Street for a brush fire; both officers responded to assist.

4:56 p.m. — Report from King Street of a male swinging a stick and talking about beating people up; on officer’s arrival he found the known person walking away from the park; services rendered.

5:01 p.m. — Officer saw a female on East Main Street litter her Dunkin Donut wrapper; she was spoken with and picked it up for proper disposal.

7:40 p.m. — General disturbance reported on Second Street, where Control says the reporting person is requesting police due to her and her ex husband having an argument, about the dog eating maple leaves; officer responded and peace was restored.

8 p.m. — Received a 911 call from Daniel Shays Highway where a clerk in a store there says a male there appears to be intoxicated; the car left southbound, and turned into Honey Farms location; officer located the motor vehicle exiting the Honey Farms parking lot; it was stopped and two people were placed into custody; arrested was Nehemiah Qashar Wickline, 19, of Bridge Street, Millers Falls charged with being a minor under 21 in possession of or transporting liquor, violation of town by-law for an open container; operating under the influence of drugs, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle; also arrested was Lev Rivera, 21, of Rod Shop Road, Turners Falls, for violation of the town by-law for an open container.

Greenfield, April 19

11:01 a.m. — A Honeywell safe was found in bushes on Columbus Avenue; the safe was open and empty; a person who was homeless has her name on this safe, but was never reported stolen; effort to locate the female was negative, and it was tagged and placed into the evidence locker.

11:39 a.m. — Accident reported at the F.L. Roberts gas station on the Mohawk Trail where it was found to be a vehicle and a pedestrian collision; the pedestrian was gone on arrival of police, and was said to be going to Baystate Franklin Medical Center, but no one with his name was self-admitted; citation was being mailed to the registered owner.

4 p.m. — Caller reports an accident on the Interstate 91 rotary, but no injuries reported, state police to handle.

4:54 p.m. — Larceny reported on the Mohawk Trail from where the reporting person says a pocket rocket was stolen from the driveway at this location; the reporting person is filling out the paperwork.

5:31 p.m. — Request that police check the welfare of a person at the Mill House apartment on Wells Street; an insurance company is making the request after speaking with a distraught female, who stated “that’s it,” and she’d said, she’d, “had enough”; the person is now not answering the phone; officer met with the involved female and all was OK; she was frustrated on the health systems, and the failure of the same.

5:35p.m. — Despondent person reporting via a National Suicide Hotline in Florida (state) who stated they have a female on the line who wants to kill herself, and the person, known here, told the hotline that she was either going to take pills or hang herself; the female also stated she was in Greenfield, but wouldn’t give the location; a ping of the cell phone number was done and it showed her as being in Palmer, and the Palmer Police were contacted and advised. the calling person then hung up with the hotline; the number was called back from here, and she said she was in the center of Amherst, but she wouldn’t give an officer a better location or vehicle description; she did say she was going to Google the closest hospital and drive there herself; the cell phone ping was done again and showed up near Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton; Cooley Dickinson Hospital was called but the female hadn’t gotten there yet; dispatch here then called CDH back and they advised she is there now and the officer following was advised of everything.

5:58 p.m. — Hazardous condition at Federal and Osgood streets were the caller says a vehicle was parked in the middle of the road there, and the individual was irate, with music blasting in the middle of the road, across both lanes, and he was taken into custody; arrested was Justin M. Wesolowski, 35, of Wells Street, Greenfield, on a warrant.

11:54 p.m. — Unwanted person reported at Abbott Street where the reporting person states there is a female that is causing a disturbance; the reporting person was asked by his landlord to have her removed from the property, they then called saying that a male was threatening to cut the baby out of her stomach, and cause her to have a miscarriage; the reporting person said his girlfriend is upset that he called 911 to have the unwanted removed, that they have chased him out of the house, and are threatening him, and telling him that they are calling 911, and are going to have him taken away; officers spoke with those there, and found no orders to enforce, and determined it to be a civil matter; the landlord was advised this was approximately the 15th response to this address and specific apartment as of January this year.
