Sunderland, April 10

1:08 p.m. — Noise complaint on Russell Street where the caller reported she could hear loud music coming from her neighbor’s house; situation investigated, but nothing found.

5:05 p.m. — Reporting person from Bub’s Bar-B-Que advises an intoxicated male got into a vehicle and headed south on Route 116; the reporting person said the male told him he would be back in a couple of hours; Amherst Police were advised.

5:52 p.m. — Reporting person working at the elementary school called to say a white vehicle was driving through the parking lot, slowly, multiple times, and it was making her nervous; plate number given, and officer searched the area, but nothing found then.

6:01 p.m. — Officer stopped the vehicle from the previous call, on Amherst Road in front of the Spirit Shoppe, and the operator/owner of the vehicle advised he was at the school teaching his friend how to drive in the parking lot; he was advised to find a new place to practice driving.

Greenfield, April 11

10:39 a.m. — Report of an accident on the Mohawk Trail at the rotary, where two vehicles were traveling, one on outside lane, and one on the inside lane, and the inside vehicle then changed lanes and collided with the vehicle in the outside lane; minor scuff damage to both vehicles; officer assisted with information exchange.

11:36 a.m. — Despondent person reported on Phillips Street, where a Section 12 was served; Medcare called for the male, and he person was transported to Baystate Franklin Medical Center, without incident.

12:30 p.m. — Disturbance reported at the Bank of America on Federal Street where the issue was happening in the parking lot between two people, and both are still on site, but one outside and one inside; officer found the brother were arguing about an inheritance, and they were separated, and officer then cleared.

2:47 p.m. — Accident reported on Cheapside Street where the caller says he saw a white care with an air bag deployed, but no injury; officer and fire department sent, Medcare available; officer shuts down the road at Cheapside and Hope streets; single-car accident, and fire command will be investigating.

3:38 p.m. — Disturbance at the Winslow Building on Wells Street where the caller says two people a are yelling at each other and it has been going on for the past 30 minutes; officers found a loud party and the residents were advised to keep the noise down.

4:02 p.m. — Disturbance at the Winslow Building on Wells Street where a known person was transported to Baystate Franklin Medical Center, by Medcare, for a self-inflicted knife cut on his right hand.

4:45 p.m. — Traffic stop on Colrain Road near BJ’s Wholesale Club; investigation leads to arrest of Jason M. Denison, 27, of Forbes Court, Greenfield, operating a motor vehicle after a right to operate was revoked for operating under the influence of liquor,

5:25 p.m. — Accident reported near the Town Hall on Court Square where a vehicle struck a parked PVTA vehicle, but no injuries reported; information was exchanged.
