11:44 p.m. — Traffic stop on Turners Falls Road; officer has one in custody and Montague Police K-9 was en route to the station for a search; citation issue for possession of drugs, and investigation leads to arrest of Adam Tyler Davies, 26, of Davis Street, Turners Falls, charged with possession of a Class A drug, two charges of possession of Class C drug, one of possession of a Class B drug, and one each of number plate violation, and miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violation.

Montague, April 4

12:32 a.m. — Call on 911 from a male reporting another male is banging on his windows and continually buzzing his apartment, and the male is being aggressive; a second 911 call from a neighbor in the same building reporting the same disturbance; officer made contact with the male and he was advised to move along.

6:22 a.m. — Female caller reports her husband hit the stone railroad abutment on South Prospect Street on the way to work this morning; the male was unable to call at the time of the crash due to no cell phone, the vehicle is now parked back at home, and the reporting person reports it is a fair amount of damage to the vehicle, but no injuries involved; the female reporting person or the male will come to the station to have an officer view the damage and make a report if needed.

7:57 a.m. — Caller from Poplar Street reports he can’t find his checkbook and believes someone broke in and stole it. The checkbook was located.

10:20 a.m. — Vandalism reported at St. Kazimierz Society on Avenue A where the rear door and dumpster there were spray painted this past Friday night; officer investigating.

11:01 a.m. — Accident at the airport curve on Millers Falls Road , involving three or four vehicles; initially injuries were unknown, but later updated to at least one person confirmed with an injury; Medcare and Turners Falls Fire Department also responded; the fire department was extricating one from one vehicle; the Turners Falls Ambulance transported one patient and Medcare was transporting another patient; tow truck needed for two vehicles. report taken.

11:31 a.m. — DPW advised of a motorcyclist down at the Montague/Sunderland town line; operator advised that he wasn’t injured and was all set; all Montague units were tied up and Shelburne Control advised Sunderland Police will check the area on both sides of the town line.

12:47 p.m. — A 911 caller reports a two-vehicle accident at Millers Falls Road and Industrial Boulevard; one t-boned the other, one occupant was complaining of head pain; officer conference with Medcare and Turners Falls Fire Department, two tow trucks requested; female patient was transported; still under investigation.

1:46 p.m. — Walk-in reports his vehicle was broken into overnight; the officer spoke with the reporting person who was provided a statement form which the walk-in will fill out and return.

2:20 p.m. — Accident reported at Greenfield and Montague City roads, where the reporting person says that while at the intersection, a vehicle rear-ended him, and his children were in the vehicle with him, but no one was injured. The operator of the other vehicle and the reporting person spoke briefly, and then an officer observed the damage, and will follow up on the accident tomorrow.

2:50 p.m. — Neighborhood disturbance on Bridge Street where the reporting person requests an officer, as the upstairs neighbor has been slamming doors in his apartment, which has made it so the reporting person’s daughter can’t get into her room; officer confirmed that the people involved are separated and in their respective apartments at this time.

4:04 p.m. — Reporting person advises of a two-car accident on Turners Falls Road where the caller says she was struck from behind by another vehicle; the reporting person advised no airbag deployment, and can’t see any smoke, or fluids from the vehicles; officer advised and Montague Center Fire Department was contacted; tow truck needed for one vehicle; citation was issued to operator of vehicle one, and operator of vehicle two was transported by Medcare.

7:41 p.m. — Accident at Seventh Street and Avenue A; two cars involved, no injuries, smoke, fluids or airbag deployment; one vehicle was able to drive away, and the operator only lives a few blocks away; vehicle two was going to call AAA and have it towed themselves.

Orange, April 4

7:40 a.m. — Traffic stop on West River Street due to failure to yield the right of way at an intersection; the operator of the vehicle was found to have a suspended license; a licensed individual reported to the scene to drive the vehicle; a complaint will be filed at district court for the 33-year-old initial operator for failure to yield the right of way at an intersection, operating with suspended license, and failure to use care in starting, stopping.

7:59 p.m. — Control advised of a motor vehicle off the road near Briggs Street, and also struck a fire hydrant; report taken, and filed.

9:19 a.m. — Caller from Red Brook Lane advises he saw a male fall in the snow; officers sent, and located the male who said he was fine and refused medical attention. Services rendered.

9:43 a.m. — Caller from East River Street reported that Saturday night her purse was stolen, a brown shoulder bag with fringe trim; her purse contained her ID, bank cards, about $50 and her medication; she is missing her asthma medication, which was Advair, and also a prescription for Tramadol.

9:50 a.m. — Fraud reported from Walnut Hill Road via Control advising they got a call about a fraudulent Craig’s List deal, and would like to file a report with the police department; after speaking with the caller, attempts were made to contact the selling person and shipping company, with no luck; it was found that this was a scam, and she was referred to the consumer protection officer within the district attorney’s office.

11:50 a.m. — A vehicle slid into the back of a parked vehicle in front of Subway on East Main Street and an officer found there was rubber tire transfer on the parked vehicles on the driver’s side, back quarter panel, but no other damage was visible on either car; services rendered.

12 p.m. — Accident on West Main Street from where Control got a call of a single motor vehicle accident in front of the caller’s address; report taken.

12:15 p.m. — Caller into the station report she struck a parked car on North Main Street, but no injuries reported; report taken.

5:20 p.m. — Motor vehicle disturbance on Royalston Road where a caller says four wheelers are being ridden on the side of the road; on officer’s arrival he found them sitting on their four wheelers in the driveway; they said they rode them across the street, and have the owner’s permission to be there; no other indication of them riding on the roadside.
