GILL — Incumbent Randy P. Crochier is running uncontested for a three-year term on the Board of Selectmen in the annual town election on May 16.
Incumbent Jane Oakes is also running uncontested for a three-year seat on the Gill-Montague School Committee.
There were no challenges to the incumbents in all other three-year seats on the ballot. Board of Health member Douglas A. Edson, Treasurer Veronica LaChance and Cemetery Commissioner Gary A. Bourbeau are all seeking to continue serving.
Two candidates, Kathleen Raczynski and Barbara Watson, are running for a three-year library trustee term.
No candidates submitted nomination papers for a vacant three-year term on the Board of Assessors.
The election will be held at the fire station at 196 Main Road from noon to 8 p.m.
The deadline to register to vote is Tuesday, April 26. Residents may register at the town clerk’s office throughout that day and including additional hours from 7 to 8 p.m.
