Rainbow Elders: Community members of all ages are invited to join the Rainbow Elders for the Fourth Annual Intergenerational Gathering of the area LGBTIQA community. Drug Abuse Prevention Talk: The Shelburne Falls Area Women’s Club will sponsor a public presentation on efforts to combat drug abuse in Franklin County on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Buckland-Shelburne Community Center. The club will hold its brief regular monthly business meeting at 7 p.m. preceding the program. A social hour for members and guests begins at 6:30. Marisa Hebble, director of the Opiod Task Force for Franklin County, will discuss drug abuse prevalent in the hilltowns, describe what is being done by government and social agencies to fight the problem and what individuals and other organizations might do to assist those efforts.
