SHELBURNE — The Shelburne Falls Fire District annual election slated for Monday will consist entirely of write-in candidates, as no one filed their nomination papers.

The district’s annual meeting and election are scheduled for Monday at the fire station at 121 State St. Polls will be open from noon to 7 p.m. for voting, and the annual meeting will begin at 7:30.

According to fire district administrative assistant Jan Jefferson, Ronald Dobosz is running for a three-year stint as a commissioner to replace the retiring Harry Dunning. John (Rob) Riggan mounts a write-in campaign for re-election to his three-year assessor position, while Gregg Gilmore hopes to secure a one-year moderator spot.
