Someone help me understand why any gay, lesbian, transgender person would ever be a member of the Republican Party. This is a party that wants to deny the rights of millions of Americans in the LGBT communities. It’s a party whose members continually mock, demean, threaten us as individuals and our families. This is a party that supports and advocates discrimination against us. It’s a party whose leading candidate is so toxic that leaders of other countries question the sanity of American conservative voters. It’s a party that wants a government so small it will fit inside a women’s uterus. When the Log Cabin Republicans march in many Pride Parades across the country, the entire audience turns their backs on them; and with good reason.
