In a letter to the editor (March 25), Jesse Bailey of Greenfield states that it is a factual truth that natural gas is not needed for the people of western Mass. Yet in the same edition, there is an ad by Berkshire Natural Gas stating that no new customers will be allowed until late 2018. Where does one go to get facts that are truthful not opinions about this issue? I live in Northfield where we have no access to natural gas by a utility but TGP plans a compressor station and pipeline.
As of now I have no opinion on the project, but sure like to make an informed decision on the matter with the truthful facts on supply and demand.
