GREENFIELD — The Department of Public Works will once again offer bulky curbside collection this season.
This special collection is made by appointment every other Friday and will run from April 15 to Oct. 7. The resident will need to call 772-1528, ext. 6100 to give a list of items to be collected. At that time, the DPW will schedule a date for curbside collection of the approved items and a total cost that must be prepaid and is nonrefundable.
Prices for itemse included in this collection are: Sofas, $15; overstuffed chairs, $10; mattresses or box springs, $20 each; televisions, $20; console TV’s, $25; stoves, dryers and washing machines, $5; refrigerators and air conditioners, $15. There is also a $12 fee per stop.
Items not included in this collection are: Demolition materials, brush, automobile parts, motorcycles, cars and chemicals.
