The Franklin Medical Center annual Spring Ice Show will take place on April 2 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Collins-Moylan Arena in Greenfield.
The show features performances by participants of all ages enrolled in the FMC figure-skating program.
Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children and seniors.
GML umpires sought
The Greenfield Minor League is seeking umpires for the 2016 season, which begins April 24 and runs through the end of June.
Games are played on Mondays through Fridays starting at 5:30 p.m.

GHS bottle and can drive
The Greenfield High School baseball team will conduct its annual bottle and can drive on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at Ruggeri’s Package Store.
Players will go door to door picking up bottlers cans, and residents can drop of their returnables at the store.

Officials course
The Connecticut Valley Soccer Officials Association will conduct an instructional course during April and May.
Members of the CVSOA referee scholastic soccer matches in Hampshire and Franklin Counties during the fall. Members must be 18 years of age or older and pass a background check. The instructional course includes both classes and field training, and candidates must pass a rules test. The classes take place on weekday evenings at Deerfield Elementary School. The course costs $50.

Co-rec softball
Montague teams signups
The Montague Parks & Recreation Department is accepting registrations for new teams interested in joining their co-ed adult softball league. Montague’s league is ASA sanctioned with umpires. Team registration is $600.
The season runs from May through August, with games on Monday and Thursday evenings.
A league meeting is scheduled for April 14.
