SOUTH DEERFIELD — You’re invited to experience Jesus’ last night with His disciples, Thursday, March 24 at 7 p.m. at Frontier Regional School, North Main Street. This is jointly sponsored by Valley Life Church and the Living Waters Assembly of God.
This supper was significant to Jesus. Throughout the night, He imparted the deepest feelings of His heart to the disciples. He cried out in passionate prayer. His words can speak to us still today.
Rev. David Levandusky, pastor of Living Waters Assembly of God and author of “The Last Ten Days of Jesus,” said he has always wanted to present the Last Supper so people could feel what the Lord Jesus and His followers went through on that night.
The four gospel accounts from that afternoon until Jesus’ arrest in Gethsemane have been blended together and will be acted out in period costumes by members of the Living Waters Assembly of God and Valley Life Church. Songs will be led by a joint worship team with a solo by Jesus, portrayed by Duken Brown.
The event is open to all and there is no charge.
