TURNERS FALLS — The town of Montague is holding a public presentation with tribal and colonial historians to reflect on the Battle of Great Falls on March 26 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
This is the third and final public presentation of a battlefield mapping study to discuss the findings of the King Phillip’s War project by the Mashantucket-Pequot Museum Research Team. The event will take place in the auditorium of Turners Falls High School at 222 Turnpike Road.
The event will begin with a general orientation at 12:30 p.m., followed by an opening ceremony and a presentation.
