BUCKLAND — High school history and social studies teacher Ivan Grail has been placed on leave while the Mohawk Trail Regional School District conducts an investigation, according to school Superintendent Michael Buoniconti.
Buoniconti said the school district and police are investigating a situation, but he declined to go into further detail. The district attorney’s office declined to comment.
Besides history and social studies, Grail has led Mohawk archaeology programs and has served as a coordinator for the summer programs that have been offered to Chinese students during the past two summers.
Grail was not immediately available for comment Friday night.
