Charlemont Police Department implementing body cameras

Charlemont officials approved a new body camera policy for police officers, with the official implementation scheduled for Sept. 15.

Jason Pelletier is the new police chief for Charlemont. The Charlemont chief also serves in an administrative role in Hawley, which does not have its own department.
