Tornado watch in effect in Franklin County

GREENFIELD — A tornado watch is in effect across western Massachusetts Sunday until 8 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

The severe weather alert includes Franklin, Hampshire, Hampden, Berkshire and Worcester counties.

In addition, a heat advisory is in effect in Hampshire and Hampden counties until 7 p.m., according to the weather service.
