SOUTH DEERFIELD — The Deerfield Police Association’s 40th annual Holiday Craft Fair will be held at Frontier Regional School on Saturday, Nov. 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The fair will feature more than 65 local crafters. In the morning, coffee and doughnuts will be served, while lunch will feature hamburgers, sandwiches, soup, desserts and other treats.
Each year, the fair serves as the sole fundraiser for the Deerfield Police Association, which raises money for community programs like youth sports or Frontier’s school trips. The association also provides the Walter R. Dacyczyn Memorial Scholarship Award in honor of Officer Walter Dacyczyn, who was killed after being struck by a car in October 1976.
“It’s great to see a lot of people that come back to town year after year to support this community event,” Deerfield Police Detective Sgt. Adam Sokoloski said last year. “We’re really thankful for the support.”
