NORTHFIELD — Cameron’s Winery and The Back Room Brewing Co. at 1046 Millers Falls Road invite residents to a “Saint Valentines Charcuterie Class” on Thursday, Feb. 1, at 6:30 p.m.
Participants will learn how to make meat, cheese and veggie flowers and pinwheels to fill their own heart-shaped charcuterie boards. A $50 fee includes all supplies.

Franklin Tech
students to lead demonstration
NORTHFIELD — Juniors in Franklin County Technical School’s culinary department will lead a demonstration at the Northfield Senior Center on Tuesday, Feb. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon.
The students will demonstrate their portable burners and making apple cinnamon crepes, while also sharing samplings of their specialty coffees, such as vanilla coffee with whipped cream and chocolate sauce.
The demonstration is limited to 15 participants. RSVP by 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1, by calling 413-498-2901, ext. 114.
NORTHFIELD — Free used puzzles will be available at Dickinson Memorial Library on Saturday, Feb. 3, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Participants are invited to take as many puzzles as they want, and can keep them as long as they need. The puzzle swap is offered monthly.

Coffee social to consider equity products, lending
NORTHFIELD — The Northfield Senior Center’s monthly coffee social on Monday, Feb. 5, will include “An Explanation of Equity Products and Lending” with Greenfield Savings Bank’s Mary Pomeroy.
The coffee social runs from 10 a.m. to noon. Pomeroy’s talk begins at 11 a.m.

BERNARDSTON — As the Bernardston Senior Center was recently awarded a grant from the state Executive Office of Elder Affairs to offer hybrid programming, Jack Trosin will teach Senior Center members how to use Zoom on Tuesday, Feb. 6, at noon.
Bank rep to speak on scams
BERNARDSTON — Greenfield Savings Bank’s Linda Ackerman will lead a talk on scams at the Bernardston Senior Center on Tuesday, Feb. 6, at 11 a.m.
Feb. 14: Senior Center serving tomato soup
NORTHFIELD — The Northfield Senior Center’s monthly meal, to be served on Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 12:30 p.m., will include homemade tomato soup, a salad bar, dinner rolls and brownies à la mode.
Reservations are required as the meal is limited to 25 people. RSVP no later than 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7, by calling the Senior Center at 413-498-2901, ext. 123. A $7 donation is appreciated to help cover costs.
Evening Cafes paired with music
BERNARDSTON — The Bernardston Senior Center’s will offer Evening Cafes on Monday, Feb. 5, and Monday, Feb. 12. Music will be available starting at 3 p.m. and meals will be served at 4 p.m.
On Feb. 5, dinner will be mixed bean and vegetable stew, green beans, wheat bread and an orange. The Gray Diva will provide an eclectic mix of music.
On Feb. 12, dinner will be lasagna with tomato sauce and chicken meatballs, zucchini, cauliflower, dinner rolls and tropical fruit. The meal will be paired with music by Sean Callaghan, who plays guitar and sings.
Reserve dinner by calling Clare at 413-648-5319. A $3 donation is requested for either meal. Registration for the Feb. 5 meal is due by Jan. 31 and registration for the Feb. 12 meal is due by Feb. 7.
NORTHFIELD — Dickinson Memorial Library, located at 115 Main St., is hosting a Climate Café on Thursday, Feb. 8, starting at 6:30 p.m.
A Climate Café is a facilitated space for people who are concerned about climate change and ecological crises to talk about their emotions. The session will be facilitated by Sadie Forsyth, a climate-aware therapist, and Hannah Harvester, a Conway-based artist, both of whom are members of the Climate Psychology Alliance of North America.
The event is supported in part by a grant from the Conway and Colrain cultural councils.
Northfield Bird Club offering tracking walk
NORTHFIELD — The Northfield Bird Club will offer a two- to three-hour winter animal tracking walk with naturalist David Brown on Saturday, Feb. 10, at 9:30 a.m. Participants should meet at the Dickinson Memorial Library parking lot.
This program is weather-dependent so participants are advised to check with the Northfield Bird Club website at northfieldbirdclub.org/home before setting off. The walk is suitable for adults and teens. Attendees should wear snow-proof boots and dress warmly.
