Dear valued patients: It is with mixed emotions that I am announcing my decision to retire from my practice as an optometrist. After many years of dedicating service to you, my patients, I have decided to embark on a new chapter in my life.
Reflecting on my journey, I cannot help but feel immense gratitude for the trust and support you have bestowed upon me throughout the years. From the very first eye examination to the countless follow-ups, each interaction has been an opportunity to serve you better and forge lasting relationships. Your faith in my expertise and your unwavering loyalty have been the cornerstone of a fulfilling career that spans over 40 years. I want every one of you to know that, although I may not always have been able to solve every problem, I always gave you my best effort to find the best solution to your eye care needs.
During my tenure, I have witnessed remarkable advancements in the field of optometry. Together, we have navigated through groundbreaking technologies, innovative treatments, and evolving best practices. It seemed that each year brought new challenges and opportunities to enhance your vision and overall well-being. It has been a privilege to be a part of your journey toward better eye health and I am honored to have played a role in preserving one of your most precious senses.
In my retirement, I plan on still being a part of the wonderful community we have here in western Massachusetts. As many may know, this has always been my home. I was born and raised here with my father being a physician in the area. When it became time for me to choose a place where I wanted to practice optometry, western Mass. was at the top of my list. I was so happy to be able to return with my wife and raise my children in such a wonderful place.
Speaking of my family, I want to thank my wife and children for supporting me through all the countless hours I dedicated to trying to make a difference. Thank you, also, to all my friends I made here who have become family. And thank you to my dedicated staff who helped in providing the highest level of care for our patients.
In closing, thank you once again, my patients, for allowing me the privilege of being your optometrist. It has been an honor and a joy to serve you. I wish you all continued good health, happiness, and clear vision for the future.
With warmest regards,
