On this Thanksgiving weekend, I would like to say “thank you” to all the people who make my life not just easy but possible. I don’t know them. I rarely see them. They are the people who:

Make sure there is water when I turn on the faucet.

Make sure there is light when I flip the switch.

Keep the natural gas flowing, so I do not freeze in winter.

Pave and clear the roads so I can drive to the supermarket.

Grow the food, bring the food, unload the food, and stock the shelves at the market so I can easily get food to eat.

Educate our children.

Write and distribute this newspaper, so I know what’s happening in my community.
