A full one percent of Gaza's population has been killed in the past three months.  If that same proportion were killed in the U.S., it would be three million Americans dead.  Is everyone outraged yet?  Our government is complicit in this brutality. While we can be proud that both Massachusetts senators voted in support of Bernie Sanders' bill that would make continued U.S. military aid conditional on whether Israel is violating human rights in Gaza, we should be ashamed, saddened, and angry that a total of only 11 senators voted in favor.
