8:16 a.m. — Breaking and entering into vehicles, involving a gray 2005 Acura and a white 2005 Ford F-350, reported on Phillips Street. Report issued.

10:43 a.m. — Shoplifting reported at Big Y on the Mohawk Trail. Osvaldo L. Torres, 23, of Walker Road in Shelburne Falls, was arrested on two counts of trespassing and two counts of shoplifting by asportation.

2:02 p.m. — Hit and run reported at McDonald’s on Federal Street. Report issued.

9:16 p.m. — Fireworks reported near Forbes Court. Services rendered.

Tuesday, July 23

10:47 a.m. — Vehicle theft reported at Enterprise Rent-A-Car on River Street involving a gray 2023 Ford F-150. Services rendered.

5:26 p.m. — Vandalism investigated on Beech Street. Nicholas Tyler Ennis-Vincent, 31, of Chapman Street in Greenfield, was arrested on two charges of vandalizing property.

11:51 p.m. — Ashleigh Elizabeth Sanchez, 36, of Deerfield Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant on Conway Street.

Wednesday, July 24

8:54 a.m. — Larceny reported on Pleasant Street. Services rendered.

11:48 a.m. — A welfare check on Main Street resulted in the arrest of Chelsea A. McCarty, 39, homeless of Greenfield, on a warrant as well as on charges of possession of a Class A drug and distribution of a Class B drug (subsequent offense).

1:22 p.m. — A traffic stop at Conway Street and Leyden Road resulted in the arrest of Mary Alice Samalus, 43, of Bayberry Court in Greenfield, on a warrant.

1:36 p.m. — Traffic stop in front of Rite Aid on Main Street. Shawn D. Peete, 54, of High Street in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, a marked lanes violation, possession of a Class B drug, uninspected motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Friday, July 26

10:09 a.m. — Hypodermic needle found at Pleasant and School streets.

12:25 p.m. — Disturbance at ServiceNet on High Street. Davina Lynn Hootstein, 48, of High Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Saturday, July 27

9:23 a.m. — Vandalism reported on Devens Street. Services rendered.

9:35 a.m. — Larceny reported at The Arbors on Meridian Street. Services rendered.

11:32 a.m. — Hold-up/panic alarm at Tractor Supply Co. on Newton Street. False alarm.
