Greenfield Fire Station to host 9/11 ceremony

The Greenfield Fire Department will hold a ceremony marking 23 years since the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center at 9 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Fire Station, located at 41 Main St. in Greenfield.
Fire Chief Robert Strahan said the ceremony will feature a ceremonial lowering of the flag to half-staff, a moment of silence for the first responders who lost their lives during the 9/11 attacks and a prayer.
