Easter egg hunts, festivities abound in Franklin County, North Quabbin

■The second annual Easter egg hunt at The Farm Table, 219 South St., returns on Saturday, April 19. The egg hunt geared toward children ages 4 and under will start at 11:30 a.m., followed by the egg hunt geared toward children ages 5 and up at noon. Six thousand eggs will be available, along with prizes. Attendees need to bring their own baskets to collect the eggs.
■Visit the Charlemont Federated Church at 175 Main St for a pre-service Easter breakfast on Sunday, April 20, starting at 7:30 a.m. Scrambled eggs, pancakes and sausage will be served.
■An egg hunt organized by the youth group at the Episcopal Church of Saint James and Andrew at 8 Church St. will start on the church’s side lawn after the Easter church service ends at 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 20. Children up to 11 years old are welcome to join.
■The United Methodist Church at 15 West Leyden Road will offer crafts, snacks and pictures with the Easter Bunny beginning at 11 a.m., and an Easter egg hunt to follow at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, April 19. Attendees are encouraged to bring a basket to use to collect eggs and to wear appropriate footwear. Donations of candy and treats are appreciated. ■The Easter Bunny is coming to Greenfield Savings Bank at 282 Avenue A in Turners Falls on Friday, April 18, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. The public is invited to come get photos with the Easter Bunny on cellphones or cameras. A free filled egg will be given to all children who attend. With questions, call Hidy Osorio at 413-775-8213.
■The Chaos Corner indoor toddler playground at 26 East Main St. in Millers Falls will welcome the community on Saturday, April 19, to meet the Easter Bunny and enjoy open play. From 10 a.m. to noon, families and their children can meet the Easter Bunny, take pictures with Easter-themed photo props and enjoy an Easter-themed craft table. Regular admission at $10.50 per child includes the photos, crafts and open playtime until 3 p.m. Families who need a sensory-friendly photo session can make a free appointment for a 10- to 15-minute slot between 9 and 10 a.m. by emailing chaoscornerplayground@gmail.com. Open play admission is required.
■Peter Cottontail’s EGGstravaganza organized by the Montague Parks & Recreation Department will return to Unity Park on First Street in Turners Falls on Saturday, April 19, at 1 p.m., rain or shine. Children ages 4 to 12 are invited to participate in the hunt for approximately 5,000 candy and toy-filled eggs. People must bring their own basket or bag to collect the eggs and the horn sounds promptly at 1 p.m. to start the egg hunt.

■An egg hunt sponsored by the town’s Recreation Committee is planned for the New Salem Common on Saturday, April 19. It is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. sharp. ■The Brewery at Four Star Farms at 502 Pine Meadow Road will host its third annual Easter egg hunt on Sunday, April 20. Though families are welcome starting at 11 a.m., the egg hunt begins at 11:45 a.m. with the first round for children ages 5 and under, followed by the second round for children ages 6 and older. Blossom Winks Face Painting will be in the taproom, and coffee and food from Stout Pigeon Coffee and Twisted Buns will be available. For the first time, Finicky Farm of Northfield will bring lambs and goat kids for appointment-only visits, and guests can book their time slot between noon and 3 p.m. at tinyurl.com/3kk9rp65.
■The Northfield Kiwanis Club, in conjunction with the Northfield Police Department, Northfield EMS and Centennial House, will host the annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 19, beginning promptly at 9 a.m. at Northfield Elementary School. One thousand Easter eggs are up for grabs, with candy and prizes stuffed inside. Northfield Police Chief Jon Hall will be the event’s emcee and kids will have a chance to see an ambulance and meet their community first responders.
■Red Apple Farm at 455 Highland Ave. will host Easter’s Great Gathering on Saturday, April 19, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine. Children’s egg hunts are scheduled for 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., with a special hunt geared toward teens starting at 11:30 a.m. The Brew Barn will offer breakfast before the hunt at a price of $16 for adults and $10 for children.
■Visit with the Easter Bunny from noon to 2 p.m. at Yankee Candle Village, 25 Greenfield Road, on Friday, April 18, and Saturday, April 19. No appointment is necessary for photos with the Easter Bunny. Guests should bring their own camera or cellphone.
■The Sunderland Congregational Church at 91 South Main St. will host an Easter egg hunt on Sunday, April 20, at noon. The event will be held outdoors at the church, weather permitting. If it rains, it will instead be held inside the building. Baskets will be provided, but folks may bring their own if they’d prefer.
■Bub’s BBQ at 676 Amherst Road will host an Easter brunch and egg hunt starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 19. A buffet with carved smoked ham, bacon, sausage, French toast, pancakes, waffles, eggs, brisket hash, a chocolate fountain with strawberries, apples, cookies and more will be served.
