Bulletin Board: Phil Brodeur helps GIlmore & Farrell to GMLB win

Phil Brodeur tossed a gem, pitching a shutout while allowing just two hits to send Gilmore & Farrell to a 6-0 win over Maniatty Real Estate in a Greenfield Minor League Baseball Majors Division game Friday in Greenfield.

Ben Woordard tripled for G & F, while Ben Shivoine and Andrew Gardner both doubled.

Maniatty’s Jackson Puchalski, Ryan Turner and Damien Shields all had hits.

Ginger Cat Sealcoating 20, Gruber and Tripp 7 — Kydanie Rivera and Zach Bensen both homered for Ginger Cat, while Wesley Lehman tripled and Wyatt Lapine had three hits on Friday.

Gruber and Tripp’s Calin Rose had two hits, and Asher Tripp smacked a triple.

New Fortune 6, Smitty’s Pub 4 — Elias Tripp tallied a trio of hits and RBIs, Collin Winslow singled and doubled while Elijah Lawler singled in New Fortune’s Majors win Friday. 

Brantley Godfrey doubled while Kaydin Snow-Rose and Paul Budrawich singled for Smitty’s.

St. Stan’s 20, Liberty Tax Sharks 18 — Matt Luippold ripped five hits, including a double, and drove in four runs to help St. Stan’s clip the Sharks on Friday.

St. Stan’s players with three hits included Logan Anderson, MacKenzie Salls, Hayden Patenaude (2B, HR, 4 RBIs) and Trevor Mankowsky (3B).

The Sharks received offensive contributions from Trevor Thomas (4H, 2B, 2 RBIs), Che Christi (2H, 2 RBIs), Jacob Christi (2H, 2 2B, 5 RBIs) and Kyle Conway (2H).
