GREENFIELD — Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes Tuesday and Wednesday while several streets in town are micro-surfaced.
The Department of Public Works has obtained Sealcoating Inc. to micro-surface the following streets; Franklin, Church, Union, Newell Court, Park Street and Wright Avenue.
This work is scheduled to begin Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will continue on Wednesday.
Micro-surfacing is paving a thin layer of asphalt.
There will be no on-street parking available for these two days.
