GILL — River Road will have traffic delays on Tuesday, Aug. 18, while the road is being paved. The road will not be detoured, but motorists should expect delays between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m.
MONTAGUE — Early voting for the state primary election will be available from Aug. 22 to Aug 27 at the Gill-Montague Senior Center at 62 Fifth St. in Turners Falls.
Polling hours on Aug. 22 and 23 are 8 a.m. to noon; on Aug. 24, 25 and 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and on Aug. 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The last day to register to vote in the state primary is Aug. 22. Application forms are available at the Public Safety Complex and can be submitted there.
Church supper fundraiser set for Aug. 22
MONTAGUE CENTER — The First Congregational Church is hosting a takeout supper fundraiser on Aug. 22, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
The menu is ham with pineapple salsa, potato salad, copper penny salad, homemade bread and butter, and blueberry cake.
To reserve a meal, call 413-367-2652. Prices are $12 for adults, $7 for children under 10. When picking up, approach the church from the south end of the Town Common via North Street. Pick-ups will be in front of the church.
