Movie in the Park: “Dumbo”: Friday, Sept. 13, at 7:30 p.m. at Beacon Field. Enjoy a film outdoors on the big screen with family and friends. Movies begin at dusk (around 7:30 p.m.) but arrive early for a circus performance by Linda Peck at 6 p.m. Pack a picnic and bring your blanket. Pee Wee Soccer: Participants in kindergarten through second grade will learn basic soccer skills such as passing, dribbling and shooting through a hands-on instructional format. Scrimmages are also held weekly. The program is held Saturdays, Sept. 7 through Oct. 19 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Green River Swimming Area. $30 residents, $40 non-residents.

Travel Soccer: For boys and girls in grades three to six. The Junior Division is for grades three and four and the Senior Division is for grades five and six. Each division plays on a small field — five versus five in the junior division and seven versus seven in the senior division. Each division introduces passing, dribbling and shooting skills. Games are held throughout the local area. Practices one night per week. The program runs from Saturday, Sept. 7 through Oct. 26. Games are Saturdays at 9 a.m. $45 residents, $55 non-residents.
