I am a sixth-grader and we are studying global warming. I get your newspaper every day and I have a few thoughts for you.

Thanks for all the articles about this subject that you have written. I notice that you have some articles about national things that climate change is affecting, but not any that are specifically about the Franklin County. I suggest you write a couple articles about what Franklin County kids can do and are doing to prevent climate change.

For example, you could write about local kids who are raising money for causes that are trying to stop global warming and climate change and also add what it takes for others to do that too. You could even investigate what kids around the community are doing to raise awareness about this.

Another thing you could write about is the fact that winter is too warm. You could talk to people who experienced the change of temperature, and see what it was like. Another big impact is the flooding that’s going to happen if we keep changing the Earth. For example, Boston and the towns and cities around it are going to disappear, and Cape Cod is going to go missing. After all this happens, what is going to happen to Franklin County? That’s what I think you should write about.

Thank you so much for reading and considering my ideas. I hope I see one in the newspaper!
