3:53 p.m. – Caller reports seeing a vehicle off the road near Highland Pond but did not think there were injuries. One occupant appeared to be on the phone. Vehicle had swerved to avoid a dog in the road and ended up stuck in a snow bank. No injuries; no damage.

4:17 p.m. – Hit and run involving vehicle reported at 18 Main St. 

7:34 p.m. – Hit and run reported at parking lot on Miles Street. Report taken.

March 7

11:16 a.m. – Larceny reported 81 Barton Road. $900 taken.

11:22 a.m. – Caller on Devens Street believes a neighbor stole a package with more than $1,200 in jewelry. Neighbor was home, but refused to speak with police at the scene.

11:26 a.m. – Shoplifting reported at Adam & Eve at 18 Main St. in Greenfield. Caller reports that 10 days earlier a man opened and tasted flavored lubricants (salted caramel, tiramisu and crème brûlée), rendering them unsellable.

Montague, March 6

10:48 a.m. – 911 misdial received from Farren Care Center, 340 Montague City Road. Employee states the center just changed the phone code to dial out of the building to “91” and then the phone number. As a result, Montague Police may receive several misdials from Farren.

6:01 p.m. – 911 misdial from Farren Care Center.

8:35 p.m. – 911 misdial from Farren Care Center.
