Media reporting no longer unbiased

Thank you Tom Peabody for putting in print in your Nov. 16 letter what so many of us are feeling about how the media is reporting news these days. I myself have found it necessary to search nearly all of the national and world news for the actual facts of what is being reported.

The Trump bashing has been at such a level that it is overwhelming nearly every article published. I dislike the man and always have, but he is in the position he’s in mainly because of this media feeding frenzy that keeps him forefront in the news. If only the media could go back to reporting the facts and keep their political opinions out of it the country might actually progress beyond all this constant bickering and resolve some of the problems we face.

I don’t believe the media is the enemy of the people but they certainly are no longer the unbiased bearers of factual news that they proclaim to be. Taking a long hard look at the way they are reporting and changing how they are, will do a lot more to achieve what this country needs than using the T word and blame game in every other sentence.
