GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Public Library will kick off the children’s summer reading program, “Libraries Rock,” with magician Fran Ferry’s Imagination Show.
The program gets started on Wednesday, June 27, at 6 p.m. at the library.
Ferry’s magic and kid-friendly silliness have delighted and entertained people from Greenfield to Bangkok, and the library has had him perform and teach magic many times over the years. For this show, he will produce a tree, a boat, a telescope, and a number of hats to tell a tale of high adventure with the help of the kids in the audience. And Ferry will do some of the magic his fans have come to know and expect as well. After the show, he will share some secrets of newspaper magic making with the audience.
This all-ages show is free and open to the public thanks to The Friends of the Greenfield Public Library. For more information, call Kay Lyons at 413-772-1544, ext. 5105.
