GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Department of Public Works will evaluate the privatization of the solid waste collection and disposal and potential regionalization at a public forum Thursday, Feb. 22 at the lecture hall of Greenfield High School.
The department’s director Donald Ouellette will lead the conversation that will look at the benefits of both municipal and private collection of solid waste. He will consider future costs and liabilities on the topic as well.
Ouellette will also talk about a proposal for a regional wastewater anaerobic digester. Its location and funding will also be discussed.
