Deerfield , MA – Carrie (Wesolowski) Shaw, 77, passed away peacefully at her home in Glendale, Arizona, on June 29, 2026. Born on January 4, 1949, in Greenfield, Massachusetts, Carrie was the daughter of John and Helen (Drozdal) Shaw. She attended local schools in Deerfield and Frontier Regional High School. Carrie left South Deerfield Ma, in 1986, to Arizona for what was a better way of life
Carrie is survived by her son, Eric (Pam) of New Mexico, and her daughters, Gina (Travis) of Phoenix, AZ and Carmen of Scottsdale, AZ. She cherished her three grandchildren, Natasha (Derek) of Maricopa, Ashlei of Phoenix, and Drenen of Florida. She was also the proud and loving great-grandmother of Hayden, Ben, and Izayah, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
Carrie found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved watching her active great-grandsons spin around on her walker, a memory that brought her endless laughter and happiness. She also enjoyed trips to Laughlin and spending time playing her beloved ‘puter’ games.
She is further survived by her brothers, John Shaw of Deerfield and Stanley Shaw of Turners Falls. Carrie was predeceased by her sisters, Annette Colby, Connie Vollinger, and Janet Trombi.
She will be remembered for her love of family, her sense of humor, and the joy she brought to those who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever. The family will be holding a private ceremony in her memory.
