I want to publicly thank Deerfield Police Sgt. Jennifer Bartak and Police Officer Ryan Roberts for their professional, and skillful response to the motor vehicle accident at Routes 5 & 10 and Elm Street.
They were flawless with managing Friday afternoon’s Labor Day high volume weekend traffic, the ins and outs of clearing the accident scene, and interviewing drivers and a witness. They remained in charge and still had the bandwidth to interact with consideration and empathy with the drivers involved.
And a large thank you to the South Deerfield firefighter who telephoned for a ride for me.
