Greenfield, MA – Donna L. Randall-Lacey, 77, of Pond St. died Sunday 8/23/26 at home. She was born in Medford, MA on September 16, 1948, the daughter of Oliver Randall and Elaine (Patten) Burek.
Donna was a graduate of Greenfield High School, class of 1966, and received an associate’s degree in art in 1977 from Bunker Hill Community College in Boston. She then went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in 1980 from Bentley College and her M.B.A. from Suffolk University in June of 1984 and graduated with honors Magna Cum Laude.
She worked various jobs eventually becoming a Professor of Accounting at Bunker Hill Community College. She also worked for Houghton Mifflin Book Co. in Boston MA editing textbooks. She had deep faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and often leaned on that during her health struggles. She loved to talk about her faith and her faith community that helped support her in Greenfield at the Christ Church of Franklin County. Growing up, Donna loved to support veteran causes and later she would often bring her children to visit the veterans at the Holyoke Soldiers Home. She had a love of nature and animals, especially her cats.
Among her survivors, Donna leaves her son John Skroski and his wife Kadi of ME; a brother Bruce Randall of MI; her grandchildren Christine Skroski, Madeline Skroski, Caroline Sano, Addison Graham, and her mother Patricia Welch, and Yaseen and Ameena Khlass. She also leaves nieces and nephews, and former son-in-law Ezzedine Khlass.
She was predeceased by her daughter Alicia Khlass, her son, Justin Graham, and her brother William P. Smith.
The family would like to thank Katrina Sheckels, Sandy Rich, Evie Bohonowicz, Morris Friedell, Terri Cairns and pastor Nathan Tomlinson for the special care and friendship they had with Donna over the years.
A memorial service will be held Saturday 8/29/26 at 11AM, at The Guiding Star Grange 401 Chapman St. Greenfield, MA, with Pastor Nathan Tomlinson officiating. Light refreshments following the service at the hall.
