Turners Falls, MA – Cecile B. LaMountain, age 85, of Turners Falls, MA passed away surrounded by her loved ones on August 22, 2026. She was born on January 8, 1941 to Alfred and Aldea Bordeaux in Montague, MA Cecile will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and friends. She also enjoyed crocheting, country music, playing her marble game, as well as camping, boating and the ocean.
She is survived by her sister, Anita, and her children: Linda, Brenda (William) and Victor (Sheryl Jessica Wales). Cecile also leaves 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Victor LaMountain, Sr. of 44 years, daughter, Laurie Lynn, granddaughter, Akilah, sisters, Laurie, Alice, Pauline, Germaine, Sylvia, Priscilla as well as brothers, Phillip and Donald.
A service of remembrance will be observed on Saturday, September 12, 2026 @11:00AM at the Highland Cemetery. Millers Falls, MA. Rev. Daniel Johnson, Pastor, of Calvary Baptist Church will officiate. A celebration of life will follow at the Montague Elks Lodge in Turners Fall, MA from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
