3:21 p.m. — Parking problem reported on Franklin Street. Reporting party states cars park at this location, destroying the grass and the sidewalk. Also, there is a no-parking sign there. No improperly parked vehicles observed upon arrival.
3:43 p.m. — Reporting party states a male party in an orange Jeep was taking rocks near the side entrance to Big Y in a 5-gallon bucket. Involved vehicle no longer on scene. Incident passed along to asset protections, will call back if more assistance is required.
5:24 p.m. — Officer attempting to serve a warrant at Energy Park on Miles Street. Eric R. Bell, 36, homeless of Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant.
5:32 p.m. — Officer attempting to serve a warrant at Veterans Mall on Main Street. Anthony Wade Ruehle, 51, homeless of Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant.
Tuesday, April 28
11:03 a.m. — Trespassing reported on Davis Street. At least one tent and one person setting up camp. Two parties who are new to the area, advised of options and provided contacts for services. Parties immediately started packing up to move. Services rendered.
6:21 p.m. — Caller reports a male party has been revving and driving a motorcycle up and down Holly Avenue for more than two hours. Caller states this happens regularly. Could not locate.
6:55 p.m. — Officer attempting to serve a warrant at Elm Street and Elm Terrace. Chad E. Wright, 52, homeless of Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant.
11:52 p.m. — Female party taken into custody for trespassing at the Greenfield Skate Park on Chapman Street. Female had prior warnings and was not compliant with officers. Guerdema Tabitha Gabriel, 35, of Arch Place in Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of trespassing.
Wednesday, April 29
3:06 a.m. — A traffic stop at High and Hastings streets resulted in the arrest of Vera A. Goulston, 41, of Conway Street in Greenfield, on a charge of possession of a Class E drug and on a warrant.
8:24 a.m. — Bylaw violation on Main Street. Observed a male party drinking from an open container. Chester Thadeus Sinclair, 78, homeless of Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of open container/drinking alcohol in public.
9:25 a.m. — Caller reporting a male party is laying on the ground behind an electrical box on Church Street. Party was waiting for a ride and was experiencing ankle pain. No further services needed.
9:54 a.m. — Traffic stop near Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar on the Mohawk Trail. Michael Joseph Gauthier, 55, of Chicopee, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, OUI-liquor over .08% (sixth offense), possession of an open container of alcohol in motor vehicle and failure to stop/yield.
Thursday, April 30
5:58 a.m. — Caller on Colrain Road states his garage was open when he woke up and his dirt bike is gone. States his son had some people there in the last couple days to look at it to sell it. Report issued.
2:36 p.m. — Caller from Carol Lane reporting she has a video of a male party walking on her front lawn at around 2:35 p.m. today. He appeared to be “spraying for weeds or pests,” and looking through the front windows. She has not hired anyone to come spray for anything today and her pest control service came a few weeks ago. Unsure who this person is or why they were on her property, and would like it documented in case anything happens in the future. Services rendered.
5:14 p.m. — Report of a shoplifting incident at Sandri Stopsmart on Federal Street. Juveniles, ages 11 and 12, returned the items taken and were spoken to about what they did. Spoke to the mothers of both juveniles. Mothers were also made aware their children are not allowed to return to the store without supervision.
Friday, May 1
9:31 p.m. — Erratic operation reported on Chapman Street. Dark-colored SUV is weaving across lanes and stopped suddenly. Vehicle in question felt they were being followed by the reporting party. Driver stated that the vehicle continued to follow them, which is why they circled around the block. Operator did not show signs of impairment.
9:47 p.m. — A traffic stop at Main and Federal streets resulted in the arrest of Natalya Mikhaylichenko, 38, of Walnut Street in Greenfield, on charges of OUI-liquor over .08%, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and failure to yield at an intersection.
Saturday, May 2
1:44 p.m. — Report of unwanted persons at Hampton Inn and Suites on Shelburne Road. Officers sent. Two parties in a hotel room were not answering the phone from staff to check out. Parties packed and left the room without issue.
4:50 p.m. — Verbal disturbance reported on Conway Street. No disturbance upon arrival, though a mother could be heard yelling at a child in an apartment. She refused to open the door and stated everything was fine.
7:37 p.m. — Officer attempting to serve a warrant on Water Street. Chevy Van Pickup, 40, of Water Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant.
Sunday, May 3
10:52 a.m. — Caller has questions about the signs attached to the bridge on Wisdom Way. Inquired as to whether people are allowed to attach signs to the overpass. Caller was advised that as long as people are taking their materials with them and not leaving them hanging, police won’t take issue.
8:33 p.m. — Report of an unwanted person at McDonald’s on Federal Street. Male party is refusing to leave despite staff asking multiple times. Seems to be an ongoing issue. Male party agreed to leave peacefully. Spoke with the manager who advised they are aware of how to obtain a no-trespass order and are working on it.
