TURNERS FALLS — The White Bridge, which carries Turners Falls Road from Greenfield over the Connecticut River, will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, and Thursday, April 9.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced Tuesday afternoon that it will be performing bridge inspections both days. A detour will be posted advising drivers to use Route 2A and Avenue A.
All work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice, MassDOT advises.
