There was a coalition of local groups that worked together to organize the No Kings 3 parade and rally last weekend.  While we did not have a clear count, based on our organizing experience with No Kings 1 and 2, we felt the crowds were equal to, if not greater than the 3,500 people that attended NK-2 in October, when we did have an on-the-ground counter.

We want to thank our very large community that attended the event to defend democracy from the attempts at autocratic takeover of our government. There were at least 60 people involved in organizing and volunteering their time on the day of the NK-3 event.  Thank you to all the performers and speakers who supported the message of the day, as we continue to grow the numbers of people who feel moved to demonstrate their opposition to the Trump administration’s latest overseas wars, the immigration war at home, the missing Epstein files, and most importantly the attempts to interfere with the 2026 elections, the intimidation of our judicial system and continuing lawlessness and flaunting of the Constitution.  And thank you to our generous community that donated $2,600 during the event and online.

The coalition worked with the Greenfield Police Department from beginning to end in the planning for NK-3. We thank the Greenfield officers, and Sgt. Corey Greene in particular, for their respect, patience and kindness toward the organizers and the participants, as well as DPW who worked with us to support the safety of the event, blocking streets for the march, with cruisers at the lead and end of the march. We appreciate all the great help we received from the city of Greenfield. And for those who might be concerned, Franklin County Continuing the Political Revolution provided the upfront funds to pay the cost of their work. We thank them for all their efforts.
