An immature bald eagle bursts out of its carrier in Deerfield on Tuesday morning after being rehabilitated by Tom Ricardi of the Birds of Prey Rehabilitation Center in Conway. The fledgling eagle was found with a broken wing swimming in circles in Lake Wyola earlier this year. Ricardi explained he didn’t release the creature at Lake Wyola because after several months of nursing it back to health, the parent eagles would only see the young bird as competition and drive it away.
