According to Democracy Now, the U.S. has 750 overseas military bases, with plans to build more. Under Joe Biden’s supposed leadership, the military buildup includes four new bases spread across the Philippines, with at least one of them directly facing the South China Sea. Xi Jinping isn’t happy.

I don’t think for one minute that Biden has adopted George Washington’s peace through strength policy. For that matter, along with a growing number of Americans, I don’t think Joe has been involved in any important policy decisions since the Afghanistan debacle. We watched human beings dropping out of the sky. My question is, how is this going to work?

With the exception of the Space Force, the U.S. military is having trouble with recruitment. There are many reasons for this, the war on patriotism, soldiers feeling abandoned, and many others. But the one I find the most troubling is, 23% of recent high school graduates don’t get the minimum score on the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) test needed to join any branch of the military. These are young Americans trying to serve our country. Government schools have failed them.
