BERNARDSTON — A Board of Assessors seat remains vacant following Monday’s town election, which saw no uncontested races.
Voter turnout was 3.3% as 60 out of 1,800 registered voters went to the polls. To volunteer for the vacant Board of Assessors position, which will serve the remaining two years of a three-year term, email bos@townofbernardston.org.
The election results are as follows:
■Assessor, three-year term — Melissa Murphy, 54 votes.
■Board of Health, three-year term — Trisha Earl, 51 votes.
■Constable, three-year term — Mark Gilmore, five write-in votes.
■Moderator, three-year term — Geoffrey Wilson, 52 votes.
■Cushman Library trustees, four seats with three-year terms — Lucy Damkoehler, Robert Lively, Justin Lawrence and Veronica Gilmore, with 55, 53, 54 and 52 votes, respectively.
■Powers Institute trustees, four three-year terms — Joanne Balzarini, Donna Eddy, Patriciann Grover and Jonathan Pineo, with 51, 50, 51 and 51 votes, respectively.
■Recreation Commission, two seats with three-year terms — Tara Stone, 52 votes, and Sarah Wyngowski, 56 votes.
■Recreation Commission, one-year term — Kerry Baird, 53 votes.
■Selectboard, three-year term — Brian Keir, 56 votes.
