SHELBURNE — Town Clerk Joe Judd reports that the first 50 to 60 early voting mail-in ballots that were sent to voters ahead of the Nov. 8 state election erroneously had instructions that were used for the Sept. 6 primary.
Although the instructions for the Nov. 8 election are identical to those sent for the Sept. 6 primary, the date in which ballots need to be returned to the Town Clerk’s Office is different. Judd advises that all mail-in ballots must be returned in person, by mail or left in the dropbox at 51 Bridge St. no later than 8 p.m. on Nov. 8, despite some instructions stating the different date.
