For thousands of years now man and church have put strangleholds on women’s rights and freedoms. The women of this country continue to get thrown under the bus and they’re supposed to pretend they are free.

I feel that women are the heart and soul of society. They never get enough recognition for how talented, strong, smart, beautiful and amazing they are. I’m going to guess that most men are fearful that if women were given the same opportunities as men that they (women) would blow men out of the water in all aspects.

Imagine if the tables were turned and women were able to run the show for a change. I’m sure there would be a lot less chaos and insanity going on. History shows us that men continue to do whatever it takes to keep women down. How many centuries must go on before men stop thinking they are the superior being. We continue to see all the injustices women have to go through because of power-hungry, corrupt men. In this country we always brag and boast (see arrogance) how we are compared to other countries. Then the Supreme Court rears its ugly head and we realize we’re still in the Dark Ages when it comes to women’s rights. This goes way beyond Roe vs. Wade.

At some point there will have to be a mass movement by women and men to fight and correct this injustice that continues. Otherwise there will be no movement and that’s just totally unacceptable. So as a man married to an amazing woman and who also has two amazing daughters, this matters to me just as it should matter to all you husbands and fathers out there. These are our mothers, sisters, daughters, wives, siblings, friends, coworkers, etc. If we continue to just stay silent, then we continue to be part of the problem.

We like to pretend we’re a free society but I think more and more people are waking up to the reality that we all have been duped, railroaded, bamboozled, raked over the coals. However you want to put it, we all have been had. We continue to be puppeted along by small groups of people that couldn’t care less about our interests and needs. I say we stop sitting by idly waiting for change that will never happen on its own.

Here’s my suggestion: “Numbers Matter.” Maybe a five million march on Washington. Each one of these women could bring a man along with them. Then you have 10 million people marching on Washington to make change to a system that continues to suppress women and their rights. Our system is rotten to the core. I’m willing to join women in a heartbeat! It’s time the people actually start having a say. It’s time “We The People” turn our backs on cowardly leaders and let their bones crumble to dust. Put forward a new era in which everyone is equal and judgment is dead. Take back our voices that are purposely getting silenced. This is a perfect time for all men to step up to the plate and prove how much the women in their lives mean to them. Otherwise, we have no movement — that would be tragic!

God bless all countries, no exceptions Be good, do good.
