2:10 p.m. — Disturbance reported at Hillside Park off Grove Street where the caller says a shirtless male is swearing, threatening another male, and is attempting to start a fight; officers responded and found it to be a loud argument in the park between former friends; nothing physical, and they were separated and moved along; they were advised not to return to the park.
3:56 p.m. — Accident reported at the Interstate 91 north off ramp, two vehicles involved and one of them is pulled to the side, no injuries reported. No steam, smoke, or fluids; officer assisted with exchange of information; minor damage.
9:40 p.m. — Hazard reported on Silver Street where the caller says her Comcast wires are down and she was worried about them being across part of the sidewalk; she has already contacted Comcast and she will be calling them again; the Fire Department unit that responded advised the wire has been moved off the sidewalk and Comcast has been notified.
1:50 p.m. — Shelburne Control received a 911 call with no verbal answer, but Control can hear a male and female arguing in the background; officer responded and found it to be a verbal dispute between two people there; after an investigation one person was transported to Athol Memorial Hospital.
2:12 p.m. — Hazard reported on Fryville Road, where the caller says a tree is on the wires there; National Grid was notified.
7:09 p.m. — Reporting person calling from West Main Street says there is a verbal altercation that may develop into a gang disturbance involving a large group; on arrival, the subjects had left the area.
7:39 p.m. — Caller from Pleasant Street states she has moved in with a guy, and now the landlord is there trying to kick them out; on arrival the landlord wasn’t there, and the two people involved were advised to call when they return, so that an attempt can be made to discuss the situation
7:48 p.m. — Athol Police advising they have an out of control subject in protective custody, and they are requesting assistance with the situation. Same done.
9:17 a.m. — Caller from Oak Courts states she left her cell phone at another residence; now the resident there states it’s not there; the reporting person now doesn’t have a phone; the reporting person called her carrier, and they state there’s nothing they can do; report issued.
10:13 a.m. — Officer on High Street at Clinical and Support Options to serve a warrant; arrested was Shelly A. Drescher, 39, listed as homeless of Greenfield, on the court warrant.
10:49 a.m. — Caller from Oak Courts reported her child was hit in the leg with a BB; officer and Medcare sent; following a brief investigation, the BB gun was removed from another Oak Courts location; the child was checked by Medcare and determined to have sustained only a welt from the incident; report issued.
