Editor’s Note: With communities making efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19, commonly called the coronavirus, local organizations and groups are limiting gatherings. The following is a list of cancellations, postponements and closures received by the Greenfield Recorder on Tuesday before 2 p.m. See additional cancellations in the previous Friday, Saturday and Tuesday editions.

Greenfield

■The Greenfield Recreation Department’s adult basketball league has been postponed until further notice. Additionally, the Greenfield Recreation After School Program (GRASP) is postponed until schools are back in session.

Town parks and playgrounds will remain open for the time being, but patrons visiting the parks are recommended to take preventative action when visiting, including self-monitoring and practicing social distancing.

■Racial Justice Rising is postponing “Projected Truths, Examining Our Identity and Power,” which was originally scheduled for April 4, until further notice. The event is an interactive workshop with playwright, actor and director Trenda Loftin.

■Libby Volckening has suspend all individual and group yoga classes through at least March 31.

Owner Jeff Coulson said Indoor Action Sports is closed until at least April 6, and that he will re-evaluate at that time. All programs have been canceled or postponed.

South Deerfield

■The Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture (CISA) office at 1 Sugarloaf St. is closed to the public. Staff, who are working remotely, are available by email and will be checking voicemail remotely.

Additionally, the CISA annual meeting, originally scheduled for April 16, has been postponed. A new date has yet to be determined. All upcoming CISA workshops, meet-and-greets and networking events have been canceled or postponed.
