Phill Grant needs to check his science, or perhaps he is not interested in the truth of nature. He writes that homosexuality is a perversion against nature, but that is simply not true. Homosexual, bisexual, and nonreproductive behavior is readily observable in nature: worms, sheep, whales, giraffes, and over 1,500 other species have been documented as having these behaviors.
The University of Olso’s Natural History Museum had an exhibit in 2006 on Animal Homosexual Behavior to underscore the fact that this is simply a natural behavior. The American Psychological Association has great information on better understanding human sexuality and overcoming prejudice and discrimination at https://www.apa.org/topics/lgbt/orientation.pdf. This is something we should all read and have a better understanding of. We are all children of Nature and should be loved for who we are.
